From Mayan Spinner to Wooly Owl!

Remember a few posts ago when I was coffee break Mayan spinning and I came up with this:

 and then Niddy Noddy'd it off to have this ... 

Well, I took that, set the twist on it, and knitted up this little fellow, as promised :)

This one, fresh from the dye pot, might be the next owl I think ...

Spring is Here!!

 Can't resist sharing this one with you all - it's an awesome colour job by my little man in the celebration of Spring - because it's here y'all!

Navajo Ply

Practising my Navajo Plying - which is taking a single plied yarn and plying it back on itself to create a 3-ply yarn - with some lovely hand-dyed Merino from Smith & Ewe and Nikki has snagged it to include in her hand felted scarves - I can't wait to see the results!
